However, to ensure fairness, clarity, and the sustainability of our operations, we maintain a structured policy. It is important to note that we do not offer “refund-only” transactions (refund without return). All refunds are conditional upon the return of the purchased item in accordance with the terms outlined below.

3. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds
We accept returns and issue refunds under the following specific conditions:
- Defective or Damaged Items: You receive a product that is broken, non-functional, or damaged due to manufacturing defects or shipping errors.
- Incorrect Item Shipped: You receive an item different from what you ordered.
- Change of Mind (With Conditions): You may request a return for items in new, unused, and original condition. The item must be in its original packaging with all tags, accessories, and manuals included. This is subject to the time limits and restocking fees outlined in sections 4 and 5.
Items Not Eligible for Return:
- Products used, damaged after delivery, altered, or not in original condition.
- Products missing original packaging, tags, or accessories.
- Items purchased during final sale or clearance events (will be clearly marked).
- Gift cards.
4. Return Timeframe
You have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return request. To initiate a return, you must contact our customer service team via email at penpilot@shraddhakitchen.com within this period to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns shipped back without a valid RMA number will not be accepted.
5. Return Process & Condition
- Request Authorization: Email us at penpilot@shraddhakitchen.com with your order number, the product name, and the reason for return.
- Receive Instructions: We will provide you with an RMA number and detailed instructions for return shipping.
- Pack Securely: Securely pack the item in its original packaging, including all parts and accessories. Include a copy of your order confirmation/packing slip inside the package.
- Ship the Return: Ship the package to the address we provide (our Cambridge, ON facility). We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as you are responsible for the item until it reaches our warehouse. We are not liable for items lost or damaged in return transit.
- Inspection: Upon receipt, our team will inspect the returned item to ensure it meets our eligibility conditions (unused, undamaged, with all original components).
6. Refund Policy (No Refund-Only Option)
A fundamental aspect of our policy is that we do not process refunds without receiving the physical product back. A refund is issued only after the returned item has been received and passed our inspection.
- Approved Returns (Defective/Wrong Item): For items deemed defective or incorrect, we will refund the full purchase price (including original shipping cost) to your original payment method. We will also cover the cost of a pre-paid return shipping label.
- Approved Returns (Change of Mind): For non-defective returns that are approved, we will refund the product’s purchase price. However, the original shipping fee is non-refundable, and a 15% restocking fee may be deducted from your refund to cover processing and inspection costs. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
- Refund Method: All refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Processing times after approval are 5-10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
7. Exchanges
We offer exchanges for a different size, color, or product variant, subject to stock availability. The process is similar to a return:
- Request an exchange via email to receive an RMA.
- Return the original item following the standard return process.
- Once the return is received and inspected, we will ship the replacement item. If the replacement item is of higher value, you will be charged the difference. If it is of lower value, we will refund the difference after deducting any applicable restocking fees.
8. Non-Returnable & Damaged Items
If a returned item does not meet our eligibility criteria (e.g., used, damaged by customer, incomplete), we reserve the right to refuse the refund or exchange. In such cases, the item may be shipped back to you at your expense, or you may authorize its disposal.
9. Shipping Policy for Returns
- Customer-Paid Returns: For “change of mind” returns, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs and risks.
- Pre-Paid Label (Faulty/Wrong Item): For returns due to our error or a defective product, we will provide a pre-paid return shipping label.
- International Returns: Customers returning items from outside Canada are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and shipping charges. The refund will be for the product cost only, not these additional fees.

We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund and Returns Policy at any time. The “Effective Date” at the top of the page will indicate the latest revision. Changes will apply to purchases made after the effective date of the revised policy.
